BOOKING AND CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR NIGHTS OF NORTHERN LIGHTS OY'S ACCOMMODATION PROPERTIES

1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

The person making the reservation must be of legal age (at least 18 years old) at the time of booking.

When making a reservation, the customer must provide their name, arrival and departure times, phone number, home address, and email address. The total number of guests staying must be stated at the time of booking, and pets must be agreed upon separately.

The booking is binding from the moment of booking once the seller has confirmed it. An invoice will be sent to the customer by email shortly after the booking.

The invoice is due 14 days after making the reservation, provided there is more than 1 month until the reservation starts. (Reservations lasting more than 7 days can, if desired, be paid in two installments, with the final installment due 1 month before the start of the reservation.) If there is less than 1 month until the reservation starts, the payment is due 14 days before the reservation begins.

If there are less than 14 days until the reservation begins, the invoice is due immediately.

In the online store, the full payment is made at the time of booking.

All invoice-related complaints must be made within 7 days of the invoice date. The invoice is to be paid as a SEPA transfer (IBAN account number and bank BIC code) using the reference number indicated on the invoice.

The availability and total price of products and services are confirmed at the time of placing the order. Products and services are sold on various platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking, Nettivuokraus, etc.) and the prices on these platforms may differ from each other. The booking and cancellation terms of the service provider through whose platform the booking was made shall always apply to the booking.

The payment service provider for the online store is Visma Pay (Paybyway Oy, Business ID 2486559-4), which is registered in the payment institution register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The payment is made via the Visma Pay web service, and Visma Pay or Paybyway Oy will appear as the payee on the bank statement and invoice. Visma Pay forwards the payments to the online merchant. Payment is secure, as all information regarding the payment transaction is transmitted using an encrypted connection so that no unauthorized third party can view the payment transaction details.

The transaction takes place between the online store customer and the online store. The online store is responsible for all obligations related to the transaction.

Through the Visma Pay service, you can pay with online banking credentials, digital wallets, payment cards (credit/debit), invoice, or partial payment. The following payment methods are available: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, local cooperative banks (Paikallisosuuspankit), S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Masterpass, Pivo, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Debit MasterCard cards, as well as Jousto and Enterpay Business Invoice.

MobilePay: You can pay with your MobilePay wallet if you have enabled online shopping payments in the app settings. Payments made with the MobilePay wallet are charged to the payment card linked to the wallet. If charging the payment card fails, payment with the MobilePay wallet is not possible in the online store.

Jousto Invoice and Installment Plan is a Finnish service that lets you make purchases quickly and securely. Jousto is intended for individuals who have managed their finances responsibly. With Jousto, you get 30 days of interest-free and fee-free payment time. Once you receive your bill, you can decide whether to pay it in full or in installments. With installment payments, you can pay for your purchases in up to 36 installments, starting at 9.90 euros/month. The cost of Jousto installment payments is 3.90 euros/month plus a 19.90% credit interest rate. You can use Jousto to pay for purchases ranging from 30 to 3,000 euros. 2. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME

Arrival and check-in instructions will be sent to the customer no later than the day before arrival. The customer is also expected to inform the host of their exact arrival and departure times before arriving and departing.

The reserved accommodation is available on the day of arrival from 5:00 p.m. at the latest and must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Different times can be agreed upon separately.

3. CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW

Cancellations must always be notified to Nights of Northern Lights Oy in writing (preferably by email to nights.northernlights@gmail.com).

Our accommodation options have free cancellation up to 1 month before the arrival date (excluding a possible office fee). If we refund the payment, we will charge a 20 euro office fee / booking for the refund.

If there are 14 days to 1 month remaining until the start of the reservation, a cancellation fee of 50% of the reservation price will be charged.

If there are fewer than 14 days until the start of the reservation, a cancellation fee of 100% of the reservation's value will be charged.

Failing to pay the invoice is not a sufficient action for cancelling the reservation.

4. COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGES

The customer is responsible for the accommodation's furnishings during the rental period.

The customer is liable for any damage they cause to the property or its movable property to Nights of Northern Lights Oy.

The costs incurred from re-keying or re-coding the lock due to a lost key will be charged.

5. NUMBER OF PERSONS

The holiday destination must not be used by more people than it has been booked for.

The use of tents, caravans, or motorhomes without the permission of Nights of Northern Lights Oy on the resort's property is prohibited.

6. COMPLAINTS

All complaints related to the resort reservation and condition must be addressed immediately upon their occurrence to Nights of Northern Lights Oy. Nights of Northern Lights Oy has no obligation to issue a refund if the defect has not been reported to the staff immediately after its discovery.

7. SMOKING AND PETS

Smoking is prohibited indoors at the resort. Unauthorized indoor smoking will incur a €200 ventilation fee.

Bringing a pet to the resort must always be notified in advance, and a separate pet fee is generally charged for pets. An additional fee will be charged afterwards for pets brought without permission. Pet waste must be collected from the courtyard areas.

8. FINAL CLEANING

Final cleaning can be purchased from the host if you do not wish to do it yourself. If cleaning has not been ordered, Nights of Northern Lights Oy has the right to charge a separate cleaning fee for an uncleaned accommodation. Even when final cleaning is ordered, we require that the accommodation is left in a normal state of tidiness after living, with items and furniture in their places and intact. The cabin's yard area and terrace must also be tidy.

9. SELLER'S RIGHTS

In the event of a force majeure, the seller may cancel the booking. In this case, the customer will receive a full refund of the payment made to the seller.

The seller has the right to cancel the reservation if the booker has not paid the invoice by the due date.

The seller reserves the right to make changes to the service and product range shown on the websites and to product price changes.
